Alia is surely number 1 right now in terms of success rate..more movies n more hits. Deepika is being lax..

But Alia cannot get that mass popularity that Deepika, Katrina or Priyanka have seen..simply coz men find them hot n sexy..

it's not a very good scenario but a heroine's mass appeal lies there..that's the reason that awesome actresses like Vidya, Anushka, Kangana (though I dislike her) are not considered to be in the same bracket..Deepika is always pitted against Katrina and Priyanka...and Sonam..though she is also not considered hot.

Only actresses men find desirable from current lot r Disha and Shraddha..and probably Jackie.

Simple scenario for Deepika. Lose Ur looks and lose Ur stardom

Deepika is so passe. Also, her transformation into Michael Jackson and her out of proportion facial features are not doing any favour to her. Alia is fresh and a far better actor in my opinion. She deserves this place.

3 big films? Only two are 'big'.

Since when a niche movie like Gully Boy can be compared to big budget, massive scale movies such as Brahmastra and Kalank? At most, Gully Boy will be a 40-50 cr movie..whilst Brahmastra and Kalank will be some 150+ cr budget.. if not 200cr +..

Gully will probs be super to open at 10 cr..the others should open at 20-30 cr..

So please..

Do not compare GB with Bra and Kal.. you are already trying to set up some view that Ranveer is not making as much as the other two..

Alia and Ranveer in a big movie would be if they were in Simmba, or a Padmaavat type movie together..

If anything, you should compare October to Gully Boy- if anything- at the BO.

A. Padmaavat is a far bigger budget film mounted on a huge canvas with a director who makes huge films but this time hit the bulls eye with an all India market. It might be the title role but the contribution is far less than the contribution of Alia Bhatt for Raazi. Also its not about these two films but the general picture of the last 3-4 years and that is where Alia Bhatt is ahead after Raazi. Padmaavat is not the biggest HIT for a female in a title role as there have been films like Pakeezah, Bobby and Ram Teri Ganga Maili which are bigger blockbusters than Padmaavat. Yes the highest grosser but that is inevitable comparing with older films.;
