This became a big news Because filing of case was stopped till public came in support and it became an issue. In Assam case police already raided two three hide out to find the rapist. Where as in unnao n kathwa case the accused are roaming freely.

It is sad that even in this issue people want to justify the party and religion .

Rape is a crime against women by those who are in power , by the word power I don't mean powerful party, religion or caste , the men who believes that they have the power and the right to enjoy women, are involved in this act , whether it is revenge against a particular group , party or family is secondary . But those who involve in this heinous act believe that the girl or women in captivity deserve this , and they are born for satisfying their urges and by humiliating her they can bring shame to her and to the family or to the group. Because even today majority believe that the purity of a woman or a girl will be lost after the rape.

Somehow I cannot differentiate a victim based on their political ideology,religion or any other man made notions .She is just a prey for the men who has been raised by male dominant society .

Also what's horrifying is that the state government is trying to protect the accused. In Kathua the minister joined the rally defending the culprit. In Unnao the rapist MLA was seen meeting the CM with smile on his face. Disgusting. How apathetic and insensitive can one be, it's appalling.

Slow talibanization of the country. What we used to stand against before is slowly creeping into our society. Some oppose, some favor and some are just indifferent. But slowly but surely this problem will bite us all in the end.

Even if it were congress rule.. this would have happened..

Rapists don't see which party is ruling and commit the crime.. they just do it.

Is there no cure for men's lust...

It is so disgusting.

I think someone should just shoot that MLA and the Rapists in secret , without dragging it to court kacheri.

Is there seriously a solution for this???? What can we do as citizens to stop rapists???

Kathua people are asking for a cbi enquiry and people have a problem with that too.

The police investigating kathua case was in jail for 1 yr or so for some heinous crime and he is not from jammu but kashmir. Nobody is justufying the rape but requesting a cbi probe which aasifa's familu and her community are against .
