If punishment is below 3 years then as per rule same court can give him bail ... if above 3 years then session court will give him bail.

Salman convicted under Sec. 9 and 51 of Wildlife Protection Act. Maximum sentence under the law is six years, reports @mdiqbal68 #BlackBuckPoachingCase

Other actors have been given benefit of doubt and acquitted as co-accused. Jodhpur resident Dushyant Singh, one of the co-accused, also acquitted, reports @mdiqbal68 #BlackBuckPoachingCase
