Srk enjoys most of the loyal following. Offlate after Sallu's hit stint he's having fans as well. In daily life I barely come across Aamir fans. They like him for his movie choices and most of them are neutral viewers.

His insta sucks. I'm his fab and I unfollowed him. He posts one pic as 9 which looks ridiculous in feed, you get to see the whole pic by visiting his profile and who's gonna do that? and he also keeps on removing pics.

Because Aamir is not a superstar in any traditional sense. People are mostly neutral towards him and watch his movies when they like the content. There isn't much craze or madness for him. Nobody cares what he's up to in his personal life or wants to keep up with his life on a daily basis.

Instagram is also a photo site used mainly by younger people and women usually have much higher following than men. Men follow them because they want to see hot girls and women also follow them to see their dresses and make-up and designer bags. There's just not a lot of stuff that a male star can post that people would be interested in.

Also many people buy followers and their numbers look shady. Look at Priyanka's Instagram which has over 20 million followers but gets a ridiculously small number of likes and comments compared to people who have even half her followers.

Aamir is super boring!! So not a surprise at all. It is superstars like Salman & SRK that have massive fan-following because good or bad, people are *invested*.

Aamir does not have the craze or fan frenzy that SRK, Salman or Akshay or Varun or Ranbir, Ranveer have. His movies work on the script and the director/producer. He plays the character which is liked or disliked thats all. The character could be played by anyone else too and the movie would work because the story and script are strong. Whereas when it comes say SRK, Salman, Akshay they rise above the character and the star over takes the role. Public remembers Shah Rukh or Salman more than the character. The super stardom in real sense is enjoyed by these stars more than Aamir. To add more, these stars have their typical style which Aamir lacks.

He is hit where it matters -movie halls..

I don't agree with ppl undermining his stardom, I think his fans don't go gaga over his looks, body or jump into debates defending him blindly like salman or srk fans...Insta is just limited to posting pics so not many would be interested in his posts and secondly as somebody said he posts 9 pics at a time to make one frame which can be boring for some
