Everyone is someones daughter no? People are people and they do all kinds of things irrelevant of whose father is who. Do you really believe a shady guy like Vijay Mallya is showering his blessings upon you as some act of kindness? She isn't a kid who can be fooled so its rather unfair to blame Sid or anyone else here. She used them the father/son duo as a stepping stone just like many other peers in her industry.

Vijay Mallya just married Pinky and the article is on Pinkvilla, when I saw that this question popped into my mind. My answer could be different than your answer hence I am asking. And about defaming she isn't some greek goddess that I am conducting some act of blasphemy by asking an obvious question.

No ...like u said maybe he was happy that Sid was not being seen as gay...and wanted Deepika to stick around...Deepika being PP's daughter gave more credibility to his son ...around that time gays were not accepted in India as much , even now they are not and we are taking about 10 years back?? That his son is dating the Badminton Champion's daughter was another level of respect for him...u know that sportsmen are actually respected in India vs actors or businessmen?? Having a gay successor to his throne was not good for Mallya's business empire in the long run...so who is saying that Mallya Sr did not have his ulterior motives...all I am saying is that Deepika might not be aware of it .

Deepika was dating Sid Mallya. Their relationship didn't work out. So they broke up. Ergo they didn't marry. Simple as that. I don't think there is any complicated rocket science behind it. People can break up for a number of reasons. We can speculate, but we can never know.

As for marrying Vijay Mallya. It would be creepy to mack on the dad after dating the son. Some people are OK with that. Deepika wasn't. Some people feel the need to marry for power and money Deepika didn't feel compelled. Again, no rocket science. Pure human choices.

True or it may have been the opposite. They (Mallyas) simply grew out of the relationship and moved on to greener pastures. That happens too, human beings are indeed complex, especially if you are super rich and have people at your disposal. Whatever happened its quite intriguing but we can all speculate.

Reading some comments here every day I realise why this world is a shitty place and most of us human are such hypocrites. (IF I didn't have enough experience already)

One moment we all go like girl power,women empowerment,her choice and the moment we body/s**t shame them and what pathetic is we get all judgmental if we see a boy doing so but we girls are much ahead doing the same which we are unable to see.
