Still, I don't believe that tagging each other and gushing over each other, or even hanging out, makes them best friends. It has become a trend in the last few years for friends to gush over each other as if they are in love, but it is only that, a social trend...not necessarily genuine. I'm not saying they dislike each other and aren't friends - I'm sure they are very much in "awe" of each other and are even friends. I just don't think they're best friends though (and in my books, there is a distinction between "close friends" and "best friends". You can have plenty of close friends without them being your best friends. I know I do.)

^^Ya that's true. Their level of ambition & competitiveness is why I am extremely skeptical too & find it so amusing that she keeps referring to Meg as a close friend/BFF. 😆
