Being related to anil and sonam kapoor didnt help him make his debut did it? He had to do it on his own...

well, sonam's own brother harshvardhan couldnt make it as a successful star...u guys really wanna credit ranveer's relation with the kapoors for his success?

he wasnt a director or producer's son, he pursued his dream, went to acting classes, gave auditions, struggled, got casting couched etc etc etc...

and after all that cycle he is a star now...with hit movies like padmaavat and bajirao in his bag now...

but even in that ppl wanna say 'Areh woh toh SLB and deepika ki wajah se"...guys chill, agreed that SLB and deeps were a part of the movies being a success...but ranveer didnt just come, act and went...he stole the limelight...he became the favourite...if u cant really give him credit for that, no point in arguing with u.

I guess attending birthday parties of these famous people ( close pics with birthday boy/girl /cake which only near and dear ones manage to do even in ordinary families ) and attending schools with famous people children isn't really growing up around them 😕

Obviously no one in his immediate family, which is why he was starstruck around celebs like Akki as a kid. Anil was not a part of his life. Must have barely met Anil's family once a year or even less. Looks like that bday party invite was a one off cause there aren't any pics of his with the Kapoor cousins after that.
