Just look at the roles ranveer has played in his career till now... Be it Ram , Bajirao or Khilji. Varun is not even at the foreseeable distance. I liked Varun also. He has a talent. But it would be wrong to compare him with Ranveer

I just read a post here says Ranveer is better than clown Varun.
some critics have been harsh to Varun, i have read he apes salman bhai all that..but i have yet to hear from critics getting as low as calling Varun an electrocuted monkey or chichorapan.

but anyways...i think Ranveer vs Varun is getting hotter and more interesting than Salman bhai and SRK now.

well lets see who wins the battle. also wanna add, if October scores at boxoffice, not 100cr, but a clean hit, then i will say Varun meh zaroor dum hai. but if it goes Lootera way, i mean a floppy way, then i say, rahne deh tujseh nah hopayega...go back to masala govinda movies.

btw...l loved lootera, i expected good work from Motwane and he delivered. i hope Shoojit delivers like his previous wonderful, marvellous, piku, Vicky donor. Lets see October and Varun, then wait for Ranveer with HELP of alia to deliver in gullu boy.

Unlikely to flop. Average at worst case as it's budget is low due to him charging half of usual.

Anyway. Sui Dhaaga follows up to this. Another content orientated film with rather more commercial aspects and social message attached to it. Best part is the director is also national award winner.

Then Shiddat seems like grand pre partition films set in 1930's with Varun playing the anti hero role.

Rannbhoomi is his biggest film. A war film. Releasing in Diwali 2020.

Both are good i must say and i like both of them and watch both of their movies 1st day 1st show.

overall sucessful i think is varun as he has no flops till now

but ranveer i find very much getting into the role. He brings the character alive on screen.. But if i like ranveer today, its because of Sanjay leela Bhansali. SLB loyal fans have stood by him always..Upcoming years if SLB replaces Ranveer with some other actor, i will definitely be on SLB side. Bajirao and ram leela made me like ranveer after lootera.

Varun is handsome, but ranveer is not a guy with good looks.

on dilwale V/S Bajirao that day althlough i also liked varun but my all prayers were for SLB and team

Both are good.

but i think varun will overtake in the race
