After successful outings in Sanjay Leela Bhansali films, Ranveer Singh is reportedly set to be reunited with his real-life love, Deepika Padukone in Rohit Shetty's next Simmba'.

According to reports, Padukone is hoping to do some lighter films after the hard-hitting Padmaavat' earlier this year. Also, with her next with Vishal Bhardwaj delayed, she has availability and may sign up to Shetty's film. This will also see her returning to Shetty, who she worked with last in Chennai Express' (2013).

It is yet to be officially announced by Shetty whether this news is official.

yesterday i was laughing at begum for doing flower pot roles. i even laughed hard when she signed AV to save nawab's career.

Wasn't she having back problems that required months of rest? 😆

If she's not getting work, she's better off starting a production house instead of doing crap like Simba while she still has some star power. If you do it too late, it fails.

Padmaavat is declared a blockbuster. If Deepika is in Simmba it will be the 2nd blockbuster of 2018. I doubt any other movie crossing a super hit tag this year.
