He did not wear it on his own accord but because Zoya had the entire male cast and crew wear it to celebrate women's day. You can see the pics on the first page.

I know that , I read Zara's post on first page ..

I wasn't bashing Ranveer , my post was meant for Zoya & male members who obliged to such a weird request .. It seems to make a mockery of the day on so many levels .. Zoya with her emasculating demands & the male members are like " chalo ek din tumhare naam " as if they are doing some favor by obliging to wear skirts for one day .. It just felt disrespectful overall from both sides ..Intentions may have been good but personally I didn't like it even a bit ..just my opinion ..
