drowning. The actor was cremated last
week with state honours. The entire Indian
film industry was in shock after her death.
Many of them are still not able to accept that
she is no more.
R Balki, who produced English Vinglish
directed by Gauri Shinde and a comeback
film of Sridevi said that he has not yet
accepted that she is no more.
As reported by a leading news agency, at an
event he said, "I cannot talk about her as I
have not accepted it yet. I still believe she is
around me, and call us in the evening. I
cannot accept it. It is too much of a shock
for all of us. For me, to pay any kind of
tributes would mean I have accepted it. I am
not able to accept it."
Even Gauri Shinde had tweeted that she
refuses to believe that Sridevi is no more.
She had tweeted, "Sri ... I still refuse to
believe that I won't be seeing you next
week..."
Meanwhile, Boney Kapoor penned a heartfelt
and gut-wrenching tribute to his late wife
and the love of his life.
Boney began, "Losing a friend, wife and
mother of your two young daughters is a
loss inexplicable in words. I would like to
express my sincere gratitude to my family,
friends, colleagues and well-wishers and all
of you countless fans of my Sridevi who
have stood by us like rocks. I am blessed to
have the support and love of Arjun and
Anshula, who have been such pillars of
strength for myself, Khushi and Janhvi.
Together, as a family, we have tried to face
this unbearable loss."
"To the world, she was their Chandni..the
actor par excellence...their Sridevi..but to me
she was my love, my friend, mother to our
girls..my partner. To our daughters, she was
their everything...their life. She was the axis
around which our family ran," Boney added.
