Its not just films, but the exposure Kjo has provided her by getting her certain endorsement deals & taking her to prestigious events like World economic forum, channel openings etc or not to mention dedicating an entire KWK season to Alia jaap😆 is what set them apart from normal mentor-prodigy mould

OT- No matter how much ppl applaud her for her brave "choices" its pretty evident so far she has mainly done whatever Kjo has produced or lobbied for her.

In a 5 year long career Alia has already done 8 Films with Kjo & her next 5 confirmed films are with Dharma only 😆 so this debate is kinda pointless.

As for Jhanvi not to sound insensitive but she has audience's sympathy atm and rightly so, she has become a household name already due to this tragedy, her debut is awaited. Kjo is backing her for sure, and if she's indeed somewhat talented then yeah she has a bright future. Besides there are high chances that she'd be the female lead of Varun-Shashank-Kjo's biggie Rannbhoomi.

So yeah lets see.

Does it even matter if he neglects her?? She's got a fanbase of her own and already established herself with the ability to connect with audiences. So it's time for her to step out of that comfort zone called Dharma Productions and manage on her own by doing films under other banners.

I don't know what to expect from Sridevi's daughter but she's in control of her career and so it's up to her. Then the audience will have all the answers to what they think of her acting. It doesn't bother me if she gets many chances because star kids are star kids.

For those thinking that this isn't going to affect her. It is. Lol

Dharma productions make up 90% of her filmography. She only has 2 non-Dharma films. Highway and Udta. Even Highway she got because of KJO so even that doesn't matter lol

Projects are especially created for her that's how she has lasted so long.

I don't doubt that Alia can get movies on her own -- but so far it's obvious she has done movies that KJo has gotten for her and told her to do. Dear Zindagi was entirely facilitated by KJo. Alia apparently hadn't even read the script or met Gauri until right before shooting. Same with Highway -- it was KJo who got it for her.

All her next movies are with Dharma only. She has not bothered to even try to venture out. Of course it's been a mutually beneficial relationship for Kjo, but it's also not just about movies. KJo has literally played a huge role in her PR and creating her image, getting her exposure. The whole "Genius of the Year" was something KJo did as well, if I remember correctly. Kjo has, IMHO, singe-handedly made Alia's career. I truly believe she would not have made it without his backing. That;s not to say she doesn't have talent, but she's also not as amazing as she's hyped to be.

I felt like KJo didn't really care about the new debutantes, but he will spend some time on Jahnvi for obvious reasons. If she has some small amount of talent, then KJo might offer her more movies or go above and beyond like he did for Alia. There are rumors of Ananya and Sara as well. It'll be interesting to see how Alia goes from here.

She hasnt ventured out because she doesnt get offers from anyone else😆 Only KJO and Dharma are obsessed with her. Im not going to be surprised if shes going to be in Simba as well!

No, she has proved herself. KJo promoted Sid a lot too but the guy failed.

The person has to have something too. Alia does have some acting skills and she is improving. KJo can only push to an extent rest is how Alia acts and how audience accepts. Jhanvi has been promoted a lot and now its upto her acting skills and screen presence. KJo wont do much as the girl has her Dad and Uncle to support.

Lmaooo!! I've a strong feeling he will too! I've been thinking the same since a while now. He won't do it publicly/make it obvious.. Until her star begins to fall. LOL. I wonder how Aloo will take it since it's completely obvious that she's an extremely jealous person.

Alia is a good actress so she might just do fine without Karan's help..she might get more good and interesting roles..hope Jhanvi is a good actress too..Bollywood needs better female actresses
