Something called vagal inhibition occurs in drowning. she probably fainted in the bathtub and vagal inhibition leading to cardiac arrest must have occured.

I don't know what the believe and what is the actual truth... but what I do know is that this whole thing is very sad and unfortunate... and I'm crying with the family. This must be so hard to take in... the daughters are only 17 and 19... so young. :( Man..so tragic.

But why did she faint in the bath tub ? was she drunk ?

I am really confused .. Did cardiac arrest happen after drowning or before drowning ? This is so unfortunate ..

possible sequence could be she was drunk- she went to bathe- fainted in the bathtub-vagal inhibition and cardiac arrest. It probably happened within a span of few minutes
