Sridevi wasn't my favourite actress but it doesn't really matter, whenever she came on screen , I was in awe of her. Growing up in the 90's, her movies were staple... be it Mr India, chalbaaz, lamhe, naagin, khudagawah .. Coming home from school, I used to find my grandmother usually watching one of her movies , since we had migrated from Kashmir a few years back , grandma wasn't good with Hindi but She never missed sri's movies , maybe because Sri was so good in her art, that the language barrier didn't matter. RIP Sridevi, you brought joy and smiles to many people. I hope her family finds peace in such difficult times.

The only actress that stood toe to toe with Amitabh Bachchan in his best years nobody else could do that and secure as much screentime in that era you watch any of her movies and you come out thinking of her performance
