Gimme a 'beast' like that any day over dumb boring chocolate boys. 😛

I admire VK for that but he should treat his juniors and anybody not exactly sharing his same ideals like he treats his "Pari" anushka.
I still remember vividly how he Treated Anil Kumble.

Must be cause as per that 2016 article, Veer still does not spend a single penny from his own earnings. Dad's wealth is more than enough to sustain his lifestyle.

Has made 6 double centuries in less than a year and half. Ugh, he breaks records everyday and I'd be tired typing the ever enlarging list. This is not your regular cricketer, he is a legend in the making and Indians should thank their stars that he plays for our country and not a rival team.

The thing is he plays against fattu bowlers in a time when cricket is so dominated by batsmen.
Virat Kohli is in his own space but probably will stay behind Sachin all the time and never attain the status of "God" like Tendulkar.
Ehh, as much as I recognise his achievements, I don't think VK is particularly successful as captain.
He inherited an already powerful Indian cricket team upon assuming captaincy and he didn't have to work hard from the Bottom to build it up.
He went in like a swashbuckler and scored those runs.
Infact , even nowadays I see Dhoni shadow captaining the team in the field honestly.
Plus Kohli is ruining the Cricket team's future along with Ravi Shastri and other delusional Mugheads at BCCI with their politics. 🤢
The award for the most successful cricket captain will probably be a war between Kapil Dev, Sourav Ganguly and MS dhoni.
Rahul Dravid was good, but I don't think he was a particularly good captain in comparison with Dhoni or Ganguly.
I think among the current players, Ajinkya Rahane should be the captain. He's pretty nice IMO

Veer's own money is enough to sustain his family 😆 I don't believe he doesn't spend money much because in the same article he says "I don't look at price-tags while shopping". 😆 But good for him.

He used to be quite an ass in his beginning days, but for the past year he's sobered up to a huge extent. I find him polite, classy and mature in his interviews and appearances. His Twitter posts too, are quite adorable. 😆

I have issues too, several of them with his captaincy and selection and the need to dominate the coach. Also yes he is obnoxious and yes bowling attacks are weak. But why is no one else able to match his performance level in all 3 formats against the same weak bowlers?

Fact is Virat would have been a great cricketer at any period of time due to his sheer hard work and determination to adapt. Lets give credit to the batsman that he is cause he is the real deal.

Yep.
But that's reserved for Anushka and media only.
He still behaves crappily with team mates and Fans.
I recently heard on college that in past,a guy went to the airport to greet Virat but he treated that guy like he was some unwanted beggar and didn't give autograph. (this was during some Ipl game I think-don't know that guy personally)
The other guys were kind and took a selfie with him.

Of course he spends a lot. He says that he is used to the luxuries of life. I was only stating that considering his evidently expensive lifestyle, him not spending his own money but his Dad's means that his family is far too wealthy than what he himself is presently.

I think Veer's earnings are insignificant compared to his Dad's wealth, which is why they are unconcerned about his money and still spend on him.

I don't agree with the 'most successful captain' bit. That slot is still held by Dhoni, and the credit for building the foundation of a world-class team still goes to Dada.
Kohli is currently the best batsman in the world, and he's currently the heir to the Little Master. I don't know how good he'd be as a captain in the coming years; that's for time to tell. Even Tendulkar was a shitty captain. But Kohli is something that plummeted into the Indian team from the high heavens, that's for sure. 😆

^^Completely agree, Shar!! I dislike him off the field but credit given where credit is due- He is absolutely the best cricketer we have today, just a little behind Tendulkar & he will be a legend given time. His sheer hard work & determination shows & though my liking for cricket isn't consistent or my life for it in existence, lol, just seeing him play is enough for even someone like me to see how much focus & passion he was for his game!! He would've been here irrespective of how much talent a Rohit etc have.. Kohli is an excellent example of where work & discipline can take you.
