In the media Slb was spared as all the channels which bhakts follow were supporting SLB. He had paid them beforehand. Post release SLB loses his importance as a news item. But SRK and Aamir.are evergreen news items.

SRK and Aamir didn't badmouth India, they just stated a general opinion which was not bad, if you think about it. Everyone has a right to have freedom of expression. And just because they are Muslim, their statement were dragged by media, interpreted in a wrong way and made a controversy out of it.

Because his name is Bhansali, not Khan

Of course Bigotry was the main reason in current socio-political environment why SRK and Aamir were targeted for their "opinions" and Bhansali got away with a direct anti India statement

2nd reason is that SRK and Aamir are megastars, their bashing on news media gets the channels more eyeballs, more TRPs...

Sardesai completely twisted SRK's statements and presented them in a way so that controversy started and they got to do blah blah on TV for weeks and months

Well it can't be religion because DP was also bashed for saying what we have gotten ourselves into.

Yes, more than religion it's the star factor that mattered.

And why media, people here on the forum were ready to deport her to her birthplace.

Because both Aamir and SRK spoke as spoke person for common man hoping to trigger their sentiments.

Aamir said "Wife suggested moving out of India: Aamir on intolerance" common the very india made him superstar!
Ofcourse people said move out , who gives a damn!

SRK was on award wapsi, all knew that award wapsi was from psuedo intellecutals!

Where as for SLB it was very individualistic , he spoke only after he was treated badly.

There is a difference and along with that "intolerance" is no more a fad 😆
