THIS leading film star is laughing all the way to the bank. While he was approached for a mega film last year, he quoted an astronomical figure of Rs 40 crore. The film's director and producer noted names in the industry then went to a more bankable star, who showed interest, but unfortunately opted out of the film. The makers then went running back to the first actor, who then hiked his fee to please sit down for this Rs 60 crore. Well, he has been signed on, and is grinning like the proverbial Cheshire cat these days.

Akki movies are successful but doesn't make enough to quote 60..

Could only be aamir or salman... I dont think anyone else should be paid 60.. And if they are paying to some other actors then the producer is an idiot

But I dont think any of Salman's films went to another actor and then came back to him. Only Aamir had Rakesh Sharma biopic which he left but I dont think he is back on. There was some rumour about No Entry sequel going to Akshay. Not heard if back to Salman and everything is finalized.

Could be this one too...in between there were rumors of Aamir doing it. Though Akshay's movies dont make this much I think Mogul has sentimental value for Tseries. HF4 also has potential to earn big if we look at how well Golmaal Again did on Diwali last year. And Akshay is the mainstay of the films.

It could be HF4 and the more bankable star Salman.Among top stars,Sajid Nadiadwala has only worked with Akshay and Salman .

Rest be sure the star in the blind is Akshay.He has made the right moves at the right time.He has Reshma by his side.

HF4 will release on Diwali.Like you said Mogul has sentimental value,the whole industry will promote it.It will get a solo holiday release date.It will release after Robot 2.
