Ranveer Singh is enjoying the success of his film Padmaavat as well as all the love that his character Alauddin Khalji has received from all over. His portrayal of Khilji has won viewers and critics alike. Padmaavat has gone on to become the highest grossing film of his career.

According to an article in Deccan Chronicle, Ranveer Singh bared his heart about his co-stars. He said, "I genuinely believe you are as good as your co-actor, I have experienced it so many times with Anushka Sharma, Anil Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt now, Jim Sarbh in Padmaavat.

He further added, "When you have somebody who is present, who is giving, who is connected it enriches and enhances your performance. I have been very blessed that in my journey I have had such special actors to collaborate with, to learn from. There are so many actors that I want to work with, where I feel I could learn so much. I hope to get those opportunities, Priyanka Chopra as well. It's a wonderful collaborative process- this whole acting thing. It's so personal in so many ways.

For some time now Ranveer Singh is satisfied with playing a negative character. He will not take up a project, where he will have to play an evil role.

Ranveer Singh is currently busy shooting for Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy opposite Alia Bhatt. He will soon start shooting for Rohit Shetty's Simmba and Kabir Khan's 83.

PC and his friendship is so genuine. I see genuine fondness from them for each other. I wouldn't mind another movie. But but but DeepVeer in a romcom is long overdue. 😭

DEEPVEER ROMCOM.. damn.. been waiting since RamLeela to see them in a new age love story something with amazing songs and some good romantic moments.

They would have a BOMB chemistry. Imagine them in a contemporary romantic movie that doesn't end in a tragedy. I'm sold 😆

He is such a gem...the most humble down to earth actor of todays time.

His excitement for acting, his respect for his film set and his co-stars, all shows how connected he is to the industry. According to me, its people like him who should be the flag bearer of Indian Cinema and not the ones who though boast of being born into Filmy Family but dont share the same passion as their forefathers...
