Ranveer Singh's exuberance and
cheerfulness are infectious. The actor always
has high energy at public events. His charm
combined with his superlative talent has
made him the audience's favorite.
Ranveer spoke to a leading daily and talked
about his film Padmaavat, fashion choices
and his process of acting. Ranveer has
received appreciation from all quarters for
his superlative performance as Alauddin
Khilji.
He said, "I'm surprised that so many people
think: How can someone be so happy? I find
that an appalling question. According to me,
happiness is a choice. I get to do for a living
what I love to do. Maybe I would have been
a different person had I not been an actor. I
wanted to be a hero in Hindi films and
today, I have become that. I'm genuinely
happy most of the times.
Ranveer also revealed his acting process. "I
have always been very serious about the
craft of acting. I have a theatre background
and have done a lot of study in the theory of
acting as well. Yet, the most I have learnt is
on the job. My approach is different from a
lot of my peers. Apart from being on the
sets, it is the process of developing the
character that I find most fulfilling. For Khilji,
I lived in isolation for three weeks. I didn't
speak with anyone. During that period, I
tried different things. I studied tyrannical
figures and oppression in history.

He isn't pretending anything. He is explaining his own process and as a result of that process has delivered excellent results.

And Daniel day lewis , Heath ledger I have watched their films. They have not done any earth shattering acting as people always hype about. Hardly few people in Hollywood are able to emote well. Tom Hardy , Dicaprio , Johnny Depp , Christian Bale are one of the few people who act.
All others are just different versions of themselves.

I am not hyping anyone, i am just saying he is using DDL's boasting style whereby he elaborates how he using all these "techniques" for characters. Ranveer was good but his performance wasn't earth shattering either.

Well he is a sort of a person who speaks his mind and is too enthusiastic all the time and wants to share what all he did to prepare.
I don't think he is boasting and saying my technique is the best. He is just expressing his feelings.
He doesn't act all sly and not reveal stuff.

Finding happiness in work is extremely important. Not many people get the opportunity neither they live up to it..I like the way he described his feeling of happiness..😳

Very true.

This is one of the reasons PC adores him because as she says Ranveer is the kind of guy who goes "mummy mummy mein actor ban gaya" with sheer joy at just having an opportunity to act. He has not been handed his career or the movies on a platter, its all his hard work, so his happiness is understandable.

And as his twitter bio states, he is truly living the dream.😃

Which actors career would be different if you reverse their timing?

How would some 2000’s actors career would be like if they debuted today and if this generation actors debuted during 2000’s. I honestly think...
