Ranbir Kapoor upset with rumours of his alleged relationship with Alia

Apparently, Ranbir Kapoor is a tad bit miffed with all the reports linking him with Alia Bhatt. It seems he has been telling his friends that since Alia and he are working together on Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra, they are bound to meet. According to sources, it was director Ayan, who insisted they spend some time together before the film and develop a rapport. That would naturally fuel their chemistry during the shooting of the film. The duo has also been prepping up for the film before it went on floors.


Obviously, they would be spotted together. But the paparazzi outside their homes and media reports hinting at their so-called romance is irking him. Apparently, he even had a meeting with his managerial team asking them to look into the matter and curb any unwanted attention, which would draw away from the film.


This is the first time Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will be seen together in a film. The two have known each other for a while now and Alia had even expressed her fondness for the Kapoor boy during her early days in the industry. It'll be interesting to see what Dharma Productions' Brahmastra will unveil given it features these two heavy-duty performers.


Alia has proved her mettle with performances in films like Udta Punjab, Highway and Dear Zindagi. Ranbir too has wowed audiences with Rockstar, Barfi! and Wake Up Sid to name a few. It's a coming together of two brilliant performers. Also, Ayan Mukerji has created a distinct identity for himself as a director. No doubt filmgoers must be eager to watch this one.
