Like I said I don't trust BOI. I am expecting more than 250 crores. If it releases in the rest of the states it can touch 300 easily. Shahid played his part well so zero credit is out of question.

Have a look at his Box office record and you will call him Lucky guy. His last clean hit was Jab we met in 2007 and after that no single hit or semi hit, all flops and disasters. Here he got a 200 crore movie which was otherwise impossible in his career.

not just that the endless negative posts made on purpose on a movie pre-release is annoying...

also find it amusing when a movie is disliked bcoz of the hatred for an actor or due to his/her offscreen persona 😆...

this place used to b fun 3-4 years back...

I tried accessing these websites but they are not user friendly. Is there any consolidated list on this website like that on BOI where we can see which is a hit or flop?

Sanjay gave a flop/disaster called Guzzarish. Deepika also has given flop Tamasha.

It is not about them individually but it is about the star power the three have together. Audience loves them and they are very popular. Shahid or no Shahid the movie was bound to be super hit.

The group which said Dilwale would crush BM, later playing the victim card.

Udta Panjab which also has Shahid (with another top female star Alia and "used to be top star" Kareena) made 10 crores first day and 60 crores lifetime (without ban). Wonder why it could not collect money like Padmavat.

People consider, tweets from the people belonging to ruling party would dent the collection, not the official ban in four states. 🤪 (It is like saying, Swara's Facebook post made a serious dent on Padmavati collection. Or else, it would have made 300 crores by now).

Fact is, I am not 100% satisfied with Padma either. (I reviewed dispassionately, not as a fan). But I am defending it because of the mockery of some wounded soldier.

"Khilji must be mad to leave a wife like Aditi to wage a war on a woman who looks like Deepika" is not a review.

Looks like the wound is too deep.

Also lot of people "pitying" Deepika got a raw deal from SLB. If she is secure, why bother? Amir Khan has underplayed himself in so many movies (like Rang De Basanti, 3 Idiots or Dangal). Haven't we applauded him for being a secure actor and not overshadowing other stars?

Pay check will be decided on star power (as they are the ones who bring the majority of audience). But screen time of a character should be decided by director/story. No rule is broken here.
