Padmaavat is sustaining very well into its second week with collections of 6 crore nett in its second week. The film has grossed nearly 50 crore nett in its second week and seems to be heading for a 65 crore nett total for the second week.
This will take the business to around 225 crore nett in two weeks before Padman arrives on Friday. The way the film is collecting it will continue to hold in the third week. It has to remembered that the 6 crore nett on Monday has come without some markets and occupancy for a second Monday is very strong. The film is likely to stay in this position though has an outside chance to hit 500 crore. It is now the highest non Khan grosser not only in India but worldwide after Bahubali - The Conclusion
The out performance has come in South India, Maharashtra, US / Can and Australia where it is already or will become the highest grosser ever after Bahubali - The Conclusion. Bajirao Mastani had grossed 356 crore worldwide and this film is looking to add 125 crore to that film even though it did not release in three states of India.
Tiger Zinda Hai has almost finished its run and looks to be finishing at 556 crore.
