Always rooted for Ranveer and always will. He is just crazy about his craft which is rare these days. But his stans need to stop lol. Quit trashing Shahid for no reason. As a leading man himself he has as much say as Ranveer. If he says he can do Khilji differently or better,whats the issue because he is one of the actors today who can definitely pull it off. Y'all haven't seen Kaminey,Haider or Udta Punjab or what? He's a fantastic actor. He has earned the right to say he can do something better than someone else.

Arre yaar Aroosajahaan ab toh chod do Shahid ko akele. Pehle kitna ro rahi thi ki Khilji ke role ki wajah se Veer ka career destroy ho jaayega. Ab jab itni taareef mil rahi hain toh phir bhi tum khush nahin ho. Shahid ke peeche haath dhokar padh gayi ho.

Also if Ranveer has made some of the statements this thread is claiming he has and that he rt'ed questionable just self praising stuff, well that's not the Ranveer I have grown to admire all these years. I hope he doesn't let success get to his head.

Shahid is an insecure actor. Infact all actors are insecure. Some mask it better than others. Ranveer is as well. He got the author backed meatier role tho so this time he's basking in the glory of it. Doesn't lessen the fact that with whatever Shahid had on his plate,he gave it all. Just like Deepika. So quit trashing Shahid.

Shahid is the same guy who went under a drastic transformation for his role in Kaminey . The same guy who went all the way for his role in Haider . You can't question his dedication . It's DIRECTOR's job to ask his actor to transform himself according to his vision , had SLB asked shahid to put on few weight for his role i don't think so shahid would have declined it . May be SLB's vision of ratan singh was different . So nothing big deal about gaining weight for your role , shahid would have done it like RV did for Khilji . Plus physical transformation doesn't automatically makes an actor's performance brilliant , you also need to "ACT " and be stoic & have certain restraint in your performance which is something shahid aces in . :D
