Not just basing my opinion on this article but interviews of shahid I saw with faridoon in bolly hungama .
He comes across as bitter and resentful to me esp towards Ranveer . Who quotes a 4-5 year old byte , that too of a show like KWK ..
What exactly was he expecting when he signed PV ?
This was a weakly written character and in my opinion shahid did a very average job of it . He is a fine actor but has his limitations and even physically didn't suit the role . He purely did this role so that could work with SLB and be part of a project like Padmawati , which is fine .
This whole thing of I would have played Khilji differently 😆 who would offer him that role .. Also who would spend nearly 200 crore on a film which has him in a main role . Does he not know his draw on the box office or how his movies perform !
It's obvious he wasn't expecting Ranveer and then Deepika to get the max credit , why I don't understand 😆 for me Jim Sarbh and even Aditi left more of an impact in the movie than him .
He could have been gracious abt it .. Saying great film and costars to be associated with but nah ..
