They should have just left it as,

The events in the film are the result of the source material. To deviate from that is not telling the truth.

We can only progress when we learn from the unfortunate events in the past.

Let us learn from the sacrifices Padamvat made.'

SLB's frequent collaborators? They worked on just one movie.
But how can anyone advocate about equality of the sexes'? A woman has a vagina, the door to life. It has the power to procure life', which no man, however hard he tries, can ever do. The question of equality is settled there, once and for all

Lol what does birthing kids have to do with advocating equality of the sexes? And there are many women too who don't have the "power to procure life", there is a lot more to the female strength apart from vagina being a ~door to life.

The very notion that smoking /drinking /chatting/gambling are a 'man' thing and women doing the same are trying to 'ape' the men around pretty much negates whatever they have written on feminism in the letter. 😕

I think whatever else they have written is fine, except this point. I think they want to say how feminism has just become about doing all the wrong things that men do. But even so, women can choose to be wrong without getting any more bashing than men for it. This doesn't need to be a point against feminism or its interpretation these days. Women don't have to exhibit good behaviour any more than men! No extra expectations please.

They said a man can never have a vagina no matter how hard he tries or a woman can never have a penis.
What about people who go through gender reassignment surgery.

Are they not allowed to have a vagina or penis.

Oh that's right! Didn't look up the lyricists on wiki..
