Anil, Sonam, Juhi, Rajkumar come together for new movie

Vidhu Vinod Chopra's sister, Shelly Dhar, is all set to turn director with her upcoming movie, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga (ELKDTAL). The big news is that the movie will feature Sonam Kapoor and Anil Kapoor as a father-daughter duo. This is very exciting since this is the first time that they will share screen space. The movie will go on the floors today with Anil and popular TV actress, Madhu Malti, who will play Anil's wife and Sonam's mother in the film. Reports suggest that Sonam will join the team in the next few days.

Previously, while talking with the leading daily, Shelly shared, "I just came back from a meeting with Anil and he is like a kid, extremely excited about his role. His character sports a look that hasn't been seen on him in a long time. We will be shooting at a family house in Patiala, which is perfect setting for the film. I am shooting entirely at real locations as I want the film to develop as organically as possible. We can't wait to start rolling now. She further added, "But Anil is also really looking forward to the outing. While I have all his costumes in place, he insisted on bringing his own stuff too. Fans are eagerly waiting to see father-daughter duo on the silver screen.

Juhi Chawla, who has already starred with Anil in movies like Andaz, Deewana Mastana, has also been roped in for the film and will join the crew in the first week of February. On the other hand, Rajkummar Rao, who is busy with his upcoming horror-comedy flick, Stree, opposite Shraddha Kapoor, will play the love interest of Sonam in this film and will join ELKDTAL team soon.
