Is it just me who feels slightly sad that she is following the oft-treaded path to Bollywood? Maybe I'm being naive but given she is a medical student who seems to have a good head on her shoulders and given the kind of reach & impact a Miss World has, it would have been a real breath of fresh air to see her throwing herself wholeheartedly into humanitarian and social empowerment projects, which could have made a difference in a country like India. Attending Filmfare and rubbing shoulders with Bollywood celebs...it sure seems like a clear signal if what is to come. Good going Bollywood!

The winners list seems satisfactory. I found some of the small hits overrated like Tumhari Sulu and BKB both movies I finished with lots of difficulty. But the individual artists who won were good. I was seriously thinking Alia and Akshay will win the popular awards after seeing Kjo's involvement. Anyway can someone tell me who won the debut awards for the actor and actress?

While I find Vidya, Rajkumar (no matter how off putting he's offscreen) deserving, I cant help but feel Ratna Pathak Shah was kinda robbed off critics choice best actress she was simply outstanding, nevertheless Zaira was pretty good as well,

Ok more like a ploy to please the social media "intellectuals" coz even Ayushman (Shubh Mangal Savdhan), Varun (Badrinath) showed much more range in their performances than his one note repetitive act in Hindi Medium, though I feel HR deserved it the most for Kaabil.
