Had very low expectations going in mostly because last few golmaal films have been a big disappointment. Even through first few mintutes, I was super skeptical. But then the five boys were introduced and it was pretty much dhamal from that point on. Their countless body gags, lots of comedy filled dialogues, and that nana patekar addition was GENIUS! Died laughing whenever his voice came on. Every male actor pretty much killed it in comedy department. While golmaal 1 was seamless in its execution, this was bit patchy. But you could still see the hard work the actors, writers, and the director put into this movie. And it paid off because I fully enjoyed it, and even little kids were howling in our theater. My dad who is super strict with the type of movies he likes also ended up liking it. So, I gotta say mission accomplished! Btw, really impressed with Shreyas Talpade and Kunal Khemu. I had little to no expectations of their comedic acting going in, but I was bowled over, especially by Shreyas and his relationship with Gopal in the film. 🤣 All 5 did a GREAT job! Definitely paisa vasool entertainment. Yeah, the comedic style in this movie might not be everyone's cup of tea since it was a bit over the top, but I feel like majority of the audiences will still like it. It is a good family entertainer!
