I was a proud Feminist too until i realized that most are not really fighting for Gender Equality in the Real sense. Or Maybe the ones who do believe in Gender Equality n working on Real issues are not vocal enough on social media or any media. It has become more of a Male bashing n bullying club. I personally think, Feminism is not just to fight for women rights but for Gender Equality. By that, they shud also condemn wrong doings of women just as much as they wud condemn if a man does the same thing. The Yardstick cannot change bcoz of gender.

Look at Zaira case. I saw so many Internet Feminists jumping the gun n humiliated the guy as a child molester n stuff but the minute the other side showed him innocent, all these feminists vanished. No sorry, No apology. Nothing. Which is exactly why many including women are repulsed by the term.

If u want credibility in ur fight for Gender Equality, one must also condemn wrong doings of those from the same gender n not support anybody blindly. One must also condemn misuse of women card and misuse of biased gender laws. Else, u are only creating a society of Female version of Male chauvinists.

Enhh, the movement is eating itself precisely because of the bigotry and chauvinism. Ten years back it would have been unthinkable for something like mens' rights to be mainstream but here we are now.

yes, sadly nowadays Feminism means putting Men down, the real feminist who think both genders are equal needs to be more vocal on social media.

But, the minute, Airlines and other co passengers vouched for his innocence, it stopped getting similar coverage by media n internet feminists. The Court gave him Bail - that too in a Alleged Child molestion case. Only a Innocent man can get bail in such severe cases. And guess wat, he is ruined for life in public eye.

What has the world come to, I agree that women through out centuries have faced a lot of discrimination n issues cause of their gender. But this type of behavior only put more hurdles for the genuine cases.
