Not necessarily. There are also cases where the child is genetically related only to the father because of certain medical complications.

Thats a lot of questions you have there.. Lets tackle them one by one to satisfy your curiosity

Firstly: You did not know Abram was born via surrogacy? Interesting😆

So is Gauri his mother or the surrogate mother is the biological mother?

This information was never disclosed.. But technically surrogate does not have any right on the baby.. For better understanding, watch Friends.. Actually watch it anyway.. Its a great stress buster

I don't remember seeing much pics of Gauri and Abram

Do you remember seeing any pics of Gauri that much? Wese there are plenty of pics out there

When was the last time they were seen together?

A week ago at Abram's annual day function

Multiple times at Gauri's new store

Vogue awards to name a few

Is it because she and SRK does not share the same bond as earlier

Or perhaps she had other commitments?

Surrogacy can take many different forms.

In Gauri's case, she had viable eggs, but her uterus was unable to carry a pregnancy to term. So her egg was fertilized with SRK's sperm and placed in the uterus of a matching surrogate to carry to term. So Gauri is the biological mother, in that 50% of the DNA is from her. If pregnancy is also the standard for biological motherhood, then Abram has two mothers.

In some cases, the uterus is healthy, but eggs are nonviable. In such a scenario a third party donates her egg.

In some cases neither the egg nor uterus is viable. So the surrogate mother both provides the egg and carries the pregnancy to term. Karan Johar's surrogate had to go this route as he doesn't have a partner with egg or uterus.

hah, they're always together. Gauri just hides from the paps. They were together just a day or two ago at Karan Johar's Christmas party and the day before at Bunty Walia's party.

SRK, Aryan and Gauri were all squeezed into the backseat together with Gauri hiding her head behind SRK's shoulder. Even Abram hides these days. Look at him.. just like his mom now

SRk was just talking about Gauri at the Filmfare press conference he did the same day as Anushka's reception saying that she's asked him not to roast other actors because it's insulting coming from a senior actor so now he has to curb his sense of humor. 😆
