AN unusual invitation was the talk of the town for most of last week. A fashion entrepreneur and socialite had devised an interesting party theme for Christmasa poker table where the wins would go to a charity. While every one of their friends is game for poker any time of the year, this one came at a sum for a seat at the table. No one seemed impressed, and barely anyone signed up. Eventually the dapper-do has had to be postponed, until further notice that is.
