I'll explain.

1. Everyone and their unborn child know about Awards circus. Her issue is with the conditional attendance requirement that these ceremonies pose. She also mentioned that her stance had to be for all commercial ceremonies else it becomes more of a challenge to say selectively no to these organizers. Arre aap woh Awards gayi, Hamarey kyun Nahin aayi. Etc. Queen award Rekha delivered home...while for TWMR, she accepted it out of courtesy. Because the same people would turn around and say what a bitch, least she could do is humbly accept that. TYPICAL IFism.

In fact, a month later TOIFA gave her the popular best actress (another Times of India award) which she again didn't attend. However, the organizers got her acceptance speech recorded from her where she thanked ToI for always supporting her. (Same FILMFARE House). That year only FILMFARE and Toifa by Times group honored her despite her no-show the year prior.

I could turn around and say they could simply have nominated and given to others just like other commercial ceremonies. Why did they still give her? Because it helped them earn a few credibility points. This same Jitesh ... after making shor sharaba through an obvious blind tweet about driver picking her trophy later... turns around and tweets "wow...FILMFARE winner Kangana for TWMR also wins a NA nod for the sameCool na?? 🥱

2. Your counting is off. Last year, she was quiet - no films, no awards. 2015/2014 seasons... because organizers were pursuing her to attend for TWMR/Queen. Made it clear she won't as she was filming Rangoon/TWMR during those award seasons respectively. Every other interviewer including FILMFARE would bring this up... see they ignored you, how unfair for your performance of the year.😆 2017 season, Anu/Rajeev open the pandora box and at some point in the chat she also said this year since her films flopped justifiably they left her alone.😆

Yes, she has made her NA friendly attitude very clear by attendance etc.

Not like she snatched others awards the past couple of years. In fact, if she had attended those years 2013/14/15... everyone knows her awards tally would be much higher and some fans wouldn't have seen their fave win Best Actress trophies.
