She had a decent enough launch and also won the debut award

but since then her career just couldn't take off despite biggies like dilwale

why couldn't she make it big?

i for sure thought she would be in the A list 4 years from debut..when heropanti became a hit and she had many offers after it..

is nepotism to be blamed?

or does kriti lack something which is stopping her?

I think she is doing decently well given her start. It's not like she started out with a bang. Her start was decent and her career after that has also been decent. She is quite popular among the young crowd.

When you think of counterparts in Alia's generation, Kriti's name is one of the first that strike our mind.

P.S. I don't know what movies she has in the future, haven't followed her much.

She is in no hurry and is picking good directors.

I remember Deepika in 2010- Kartik calling Kartik.Break ke baad,Lafange Parindey,Kheleinge jee jaan se hum.

All flops.

But she was ready to outshine big heroes in the big films to come.

It really amuses me to see people calling her ordinary looking..like every other girl in Delhi..She has put the fear in people without doing anything.

I can imagine every director wanting her over the other actresses.

But she wont bite.

Gaining best actress nomination this year and having few good scripts in her bag is doing just fine for her. Deepika didn't become big until 2012. She's got time

I don't find anything great about her ? She's not pretty and can barely act.

She'll be out of the picture once a few more new girls come in

Shes very Blah...theres nothing about her that stands out..Unless she ups her game (Style wise or via choice of movies)..shes going to be fairly forettable

Ehh she has time.

Right now, one could argue her career graph is similar to Deepika's.

It takes time to climb up the ladder as an outsider.

A slow rise to the top is better than a meteoric one that makes you fall fast and hard.
