^^I don't think anyone on this thread is actually expounding the idea of marriage shaming her but since marriage is seen as a death-knell in BW, and IT IS, people are wondering how her Career will be post-marriage.

No I completely understand, and I didn't mean to attack the threadmaker / anyone else. I know it's foolish to deny the impact of marriage and pregnancy on careers, bollywood or elsewhere... Guess actresses can (and they do try) to not let personal life impact their careers, just trying to say that once shouldn't time a marriage based on career standing or vice versa...

One reason why I like bebo is because she is trying her best to work post marriage and pregnancy.

Not a fan of her onscreen or off it.

Who are we to determine when is the right time for anyone to get married? We can give advice to friends and family. Ultimately, everyone owns their own fate.

A career shouldn't (but is) be a factor for marriage. Whether one's career is at its peak, in decline, floundering, nascent, or non-existent should be irrelevant. Work/life balance beyond marriage is for the people married to decide. If anyone else is calling the shots for Anushka because she's getting married - that's bullshit.

There is no right time. As long as you feel you can balance both work/personal life then anytime is fine. And seeing how Anushka and Virat have carried on their relationship so well for so long, that balance then can be carried out in their marriage, too. Obviously, there will be compromise from both sides to adjust, but I'm sure they can make it work, they both seem like mature and practical individuals. Plus, people need to stop making it seem like women are out of work right after marrying. That mindset really needs to change! Vidhya is still working and marriage had nothing to do with her movies not working, it was the scripts themselves that weren't good. So any actress can work, as long they give the right dedication to their work life.
