You don't need to tell me who's popular where. Although I'm Canadian I spend a lot of my time in the UK. What constitutes a "proper Brit? Being brought up there? In that case Katrina isn't a "proper Brit either...she's only properly lived in Britain for 3 years all her life. She doesn't even have a British accent. Is she a proper Brit because her mother is from there? In that case, isn't Alia's mother from the UK as well?

To be honest I don't think there's that much of a difference between Ali and Katrina's super-stardom as of right now.

And what exactly is a "proper Brit"? Katrina was born in Asia, and spent how many years in the UK? 2 years??
