AB Sr is single-handedly the most dubious and self centred person in the industry. Doesn't help that he's corrupt, an utter pervert and is anti Sikh people. I will never understand why he is celebrated at all. He might be a good at his job but he's a vile human being and that should be enough for people to abhor his entire existence but ofcourse this is India and Bollywood where criminals are celebrated just because.

On topic,You'd find him sending bouquets and letters to Deepika praising her performance when Padmavati releases just like he did for Ram Leela like a freakin' opportunist he is but Amitabh standing up for a woman? Without any ulterior motives? That's too much to expect from an absolute tharki like him.

Not that I like him per say but honestly why get involved with this crap? It's not like SLB or his actors have ever lifted a finger to help anyone else during a crisis like this

I don't think someone has to have some involvement in the movie to condemn the trash of the country wanting to burn a woman alive. Its more of a human aspect. He talks big about women empowerment but when shit happens to a woman in the industry he's in,pindrop silence. But anyway,thats Bollywood men for you.
