1. Read those source mentioned in those charts RBI , CSO and govt. data

2. do you know modi changed GDP calculation from base year 2004 to 2011 and gdp calculation which increased gdp figure nearly 2 . so when you compare gdp exactly u will do orange with orange thats why ** mentioned new series data of last 2 year . So before highlighting 4-5 etc. gdp read this lol

Of course Indian journos have reported on both the incidents you mentioned. This the job of the media. Washington Post is not the American government toh kaahe ka interference. Since when is writing an article interference in affairs of another country? Looks like you do not read a lot of newspapers or you would know that there is a section which covers international affairs. Hindu and Frontline have special foreign affairs correspondents who pass their opinion on happenings around the world from USA to Ghana.

Your assertion is beyond absurd, I guess going by what you say there should be no more reporting on international issues then as it is interference in domestic affairs.🥱

There is something called and expected "RESPONSIBLE JOurnalism" which WP is clearly lacking. It reeks of false/unverified facts. The journo probably never really visited the field and hence does not understand the sentiments/beliefs and thereby culture. The provocative and insulting article is tantamount to meddling in internal affairs. Gun culture of US has been covered here but without the typical american hegemonic affect.

Instead of passing personal remark, it would have been so nice if you could catch a simple thing like responsible and mature reporting. Respecting another Nation for bearing different culture and values.

The fall in readership and comments by so many views has long indicated the deteriorating standards of WP.

The World will continue to move and WP can shut down or chose to IMPROVE.

It's an absolute disgrace. Just imagine if some hollywood celebrity got a beheading threat. Why is bollywood silent ? We are not scared of terrorists , we are more scared of these social justice warriors who act without any restrictions. #Padmavati

If WP has a fall in readership and is a liberal mouthpiece, how can its articles be considered as American meddling in Indian affairs or even an extension of American hegemony when by its own ideological bent it is at loggerheads with the right wing, conservative establishment in the White House currently? Or do you think a 'failing' WaPo has enough power on its own to be so meddlesome?

You should have elaborated in your original post about 'mature journalism and responsible reporting' rather than making sweeping statements about lazy American journos who are meddling in our internal affairs and how Indian journos have been silent on American issues, since both statements are in fact contentious.

I would not have bothered responding to that post even if I saw it before you, simply because if they are willing to fabricate things like economic progress, which is absolutely objective, and out there for anyone to verify, then nothing can help correct them. Let them believe in the jumlebaazi and be happy with it.
