Honestly I have no clue what happened to his script choices. He's definitely at an age when he's trying to please everyone the critics and the masses together and failing to get a balance. He needs to find a proper stable space for his acting prowess and stardom and I think the last two years have been trial and error wanting to find the balance. Raees almost had it. Fan had the critical space. I think the Anand L movie will finally give him that. Hopefully.

Never ever want to watch SRK in something like Devdas again..Could not finish watching it in one go till date..SLB makes his leading pair ham so bad..Somehow supporting actors gain so much from his movies..Be it be Ajay in HDDCKS,Mads in devdas,Salman-Rani in Saawariya,PC in BM..Even now in Padmavati,Deepika's parts look more appealing than the OTT antics of Ranveer

If SRK wants to work in a movie with period theme,hope he goes for Motwane who brought subtle and restraint performance out of Ranveer in Lootera which edged out even Bajira IMO
