yea nauvari or kshti, when draped tightly around ankle makes it look like chunidaar. All marathi actress of black and white era used to wear it that way.

kratika is wearing a nauvari right? My music teacher was a maharashtrian deshastha ..she taught draping nauvari once for a fancy dress competition so i know how it looks.like.. ..

Kratika is wearing the saree but unless my memory defies me, she used to wear anarkali during the war sequences.. I could be wrong but thats what I remember

yup in serial it was anarkali .. But i saw a telefilm on doordarshan where the lady who played rani.laxmi bai.wore a nauvari..

Daily serial people care less about costume but i think rani was able to.carry baby damodar rao in d saree.pallu. Only saree has that ease of draping in.multiple ways😆
