I have seen so many illustrations of laxmibai in saree draped similar to a churidar but never saw one in anarkali that too a weird one😃

Saw an on set pic on.twitter where kangana is wearing a pagdi , an off-white anarkali and white leggings with jewellery.
Laxmibai wore sarees even to war according to paintings of that era ... To my knowledge leggings weren't there during laxmi bai era.
Looks like costumes were improvised/suggested by kangana🤣

but anarkali must have worn a churidaar with churi at the ankle not a pair of leggings😆

And rani laxmi bai wore nauvari even in battle field according.to illustrations

It looks like Chudi pyjama. I can't really see the bottom. How do you know its leggings? Also I just searched "LaxmiBai in battlefield" few paintings show chudidaar pyjama. Anyways they will call it creative liberty.

Yeah but mostly it 9yard saree.

aise kaise kuch bhi .. u dnt know history better than kangana ... even i heard rumor that SLB did phone call to her to know abt padmawati history 😳 Kangana was busy in simran therefore SLB ne itti sari gadbad kar di history main 😛

fabric is easy to identify. Chudi pyjama doesn't stick to skin like legging fabric does..😆

And the.paintings don't exactly show chudi pyjama it's nauvari.. Nauvari when draped tje perfect way looks exactly like chudi.pyjama😆

Oh yes i looked for the images too, she always had saree draped even in battlefield, but it is draped in a way that makes it look like a churidar. Here kangana looks like she is in a mughal outfit. Where is the authenticity now haan?? 😆

i saw another painting similar to this where the rani is wearing a longer than usual blouse (kurta type) with saree draped like a cchunri and pyjama (looks like usual 9 yard drape) with extra part of pallu holding her baby
