Exactly, the black-and-white striped dress is a staple like LBD. Even ASOS doesn't have any claim over it, many fashion brands from Zara to Forever 21 have their take on the dress. Ab kis kis par copy ka ilzam lagaoge..

It's like trademarking a plain white shirt and claiming it's a copy when you see another white shirt 😆

Styles are different..they both don't look same except fir the stripes and collar.

Oh Gosh!
This is amazing. 😆

What a backfire. 🤣

So much for nothing. I don't think I need to give any justifications about the dress. I am just having a very hearty laugh here.

Lol...they all are copy-cats , kisi ke fans moral high ground nahi le sakte 😆
BTW going by the excuses here ...looks like apart form one jacket rest of the designs ( a long list presented by DP fans ) were also different in anushka's case too as none of them is excat copy 😆

I love how black and white stripes is common now but wasn't the case when anushka was claimed to have copied it...even though trousers looked totally different to me in Anushka's case 😉😆

Fast fashion is always like that. Whether it's Deepu Devi's clothes or Anushka's or anyone else's barring Rheson.
It's funny that people kept emphasizing Chinese Chinese Chinese as if anyone else's clothes are coming from any other country. They all come from China because it's cheapest to produce clothing there.

Even sites like Alibaba are not producing original clothes so how can anyone copy them? They too are copies of real designer clothes. Knockoff versions are made by Zara, Forever 21, Asos, and no-name Chinese retailers. They are *already* copies. Fast fashion is always like that and that's the only way average people can afford it.

All celebrity brands are like that except for the occasional Rheson. They just lend their name and promote. They don't really design anything.

Majority are same with slight changes here and there and with a designer tag. Sometimes you find similar thing in Debenhams and Primark with a bit of changes here and there 😆

LMAO. I can't even. 😆

Please post an EXACT replica of another brand. Like Anushka plagiarised Zara's floral bomber jacket.

Ab agar mein similiar designs post karne laghu to Anushka ke Nush ka ek design bhi na baki reh lol. In fact, I had found similiar styles and designs on Taobao where the difference was minor but decided against posting them.

^Exactly. They copy whatever is on the runway by real big name designers and then make slight changes like make the stripes a little thicker or whatever so they don't get sued. But everyone knows they are knockoffs. That's the whole mission for retailers like Zara, Forever 21, Asos, etc. Sites like Alibaba go further and make those knockoffs even cheaper by using cheaper materials and mass producing them in Chinese sweatshops.

Deepu Darling and Anushka and whoever else has clothing lines do the same thing - they are making knockoffs with slight changes here and there. The company behind them does all that. They just license their name and promote the product. It is well known.

The only real mistake Anushka made is talking too big and pretending like she had a hand in design. But if you dig up interviews, I bet Deepuji did the same thing.

I don't even think any buyers are fooled. They just want cheap fashionable clothes so if some actress' line can provide that, they will buy it.
