Ram Kapoor, who is currently busy shooting
for his web series Karle Tu Bhi Mohabbat
wherein he is paired opposite Sakshi
Tanwar, is currently in legal troubles. A
criminal complaint has reportedly been filed
against the actor after he failed to pay back
Rs 35 lakh to Colaba based Mavi Business
Ventures LLP. He had apparently borrowed it
from the said company.
According to a leading tabloid, the company
in their complaint has accused Kapoor of
deception and cheating with dishonest
intentions. The company further alleged that
Kapoor had allegedly taken the loan to settle
his American Express Credit card dues.
Siddharth Srivastava, a lawyer representing
Mavi Business Ventures LLP, told the leading
tabloid, "A criminal complaint with regard to
the case has been filed at the Esplanade
court in the matter last month."
However, the actor refrained from
commenting and in a statement said, "I
having nothing to comment on the matter.
And this is since the matter is with the
authorities."
In the web series, while Ram played the role
of a Bollywood superstar Karan Khanna in
the first season, Sakshi essayed
Tripursundari Nagarajan a designated
counselor to him.
