Wohi toh, jab film hai Aamir ki, woh karega hi promote, when competition is like G4 which is already generated enough hype, now Aamir wants to pull audience on his name, nothing wrong in it.

Both are coming post Diwali, just that SS is coming on Diwali day, from Day 2 no Dull phase. There is long HOLIDAYS all over.

Both the movies are lacking the buzz for a Diwali release. The trailer of Golmaal 4 failed to create the required hype, and Secret Superstar failed to sustain it. Aamir did a mistake by releasing the trailer so early.

Anyways, SS was always supposed to depend on WOM. But the way Mamu is promoting the movie, it seems like he isn't confident about the product. I wonder if the Perfectionist has finally got it wrong this time??

Though SS will recover it's money because of the low budget. But Golmaal is a very big franchise. Golmaal 3 was the fourth movie to enter the 100 Crore club, and was released 7 years back. So the next instalment should've crossed 300 Crores in 2017, to be an equal or bigger Hit. But expecting that much is stupidity. Golmaal 4 is not going to do more than 120 Crores which is disappointing.

My prediction,

Golmaal 4 : 110 Crores

Secret Superstar : 60 Crores
