Here are the new posters of Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha starrer Ittefaq.

The makers of Ittefaq have decided to not promote the film to make the suspense of the film remain intact. They are sharing the posters and trailer on the social media pages and are throwing questions like who is the real culprit between Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha.

Today, Sonakshi and Sidharth shared posters which were mirror-style images. In one of the posters, Sonakshi is seen seducing Sidharth while in other, Sidharth is attacking her.

Sid tweeted the picture saying, "There are two sides to every story. In my case, there is the truth and then there is her version. Don't be seduced by her lies #IttefaqNov3"

Whereas, Sonakshi tweeted, "He threatened to kill me! And that's the truth! #IttefaqNov3 @S1dharthM #AkshayeKhanna"

Earlier, during an interaction with an agency, when Karan Johar was asked why they didn't host a trailer launch for Ittefaq, he stated, "We want to protect the intrigue, mystery and thrilling point of the film. When actors go out for film promotions that time in a media interview, they reveal facts and details of the plot. So, B.R. Films, Shah Rukh Khan and myself, we all have mutually decided to protect the content of the film."

He added, "With this film, we are not going to do any promotions, we will not go to any reality TV show to promote the film and we will not have media interviews and media presence either. We respect media but it's our new strategy that we want to protect the content of the film because, with this film, I feel less is more."
