Someone on Twitter shared this post on Quora that has a translation of Jayasi's (writer of Padmavat) description of Padmavati's beauty and it's a rather interesting explanation for why SLB went with the unibrow for Deepika:

That's interesting. So acc to Jayasi's description Padmavati had unibrow. SLB wasn't wrong there.

This is great. I was sure SLB mustve had some reason to use it , he wouldve researched on it before finalizing it. Now we can show this to people who question the unibrow.

It has become quite a trend :D
