I am trying to be very careful here.. because last time I was accused of being sexist for saying women r morally better than men.. and I am a man..

But I wanted to say.. a girl smoking is such a huge turn off for me... she was maybe 8/10 for me before..

Now she is 2/10..

Men and women.. time to give up smoking.. and killing ur selves.

Exposed - As in exposed physically with short dress and no bra??...or exposed as in portraying something and turning out to be something else ??

In either case, it's the people who are seeing the exposure at fault for putting her on pedestal and expecting to see their own set of sanskaars in her .

BTW i have heard from my pakistani friends that western clothes are very normal there in metro cities including the ones that expose 😕

Why the heck are you acting as sanskari...Qandeel and mathira and marwa are much much better people than you... they do it in open and proud of it.

I am sick of these double gamers...

fear of being Judged.
She may be a mother but she is not dead. She is single. independent. and can date any single unattached guy or a girl for that matter.

she can wear whatever she wishes for depending upon the area she is in. and the place where she wore that dress is New york i believe.
she can be a nudist in a nudist beach.
protest if she is wearing inappropriate clothes for religious places or formal occasions.

smoking - her life or death.

she will stop being a double gamer if the people are less judgemental. and let her be as long as she is not hurting anyone else.

W*F do you mean by "exposed." It hardly matters, she's a single lady who is having fun & being safe. It's her life & she has all the authority to lead it the way she wishes but don't worry, the next time she wishes to hook up or date someone, she'll go around asking all aunties, uncles & little kids what she should do. SMH!!

And it's not just limited to Mahira. Most of us Desi Girls must have done it at some point of time. Not exactly being a double gamer but wearing a shrug over a dress in public transport and taking it off when you reach your destination, it's not coz we are not comfortable wearing it, it's simply coz you get judged and get instantly s**t-shamed and cat-called.

I used to be an MK fan..somewhere I still really like her, but sort of seeing her pics this time around..has scarred me a bit😕

I dont expect her to be Khirad IRL..but IDK I always associated her with class, old world charm and elegance..so I get what you mean..there is a completely different image of MK in my head..so these pics getting splashed all over the news is sort of damaging to her carefully sculpted PR image

I definitely dont think Mahira benefits anything out of this..for all you know, she may lose viewers back in Pakistan..and she has no foothold in BW at this point..

that she smokes is no surprise..most actors/ actresses do and it was a part of MK's chat show with FK's BTS anyway...there are pics even on insta of her smoking with Sherry..

Exactly . . I don't think Mahira would ever want her pictures of this sort to be leaked and that too somewherenear RK .. Her image is that of a no nonsense woman but now she has become a poor man's kat ..RK can be dangerous and destructive to women around him. I will not be surprised if he has leaked this without her consent ..

and then sometimes packing a 'haye toaba yeh kismke kapde hai' kind of dress in bags and changing into them in some resting room.

i don't even like Mahira. but unless she is pretending to be a thekedaar of religion or culture why expect her to 'live up' certain standards. those who openly challenged such standards never had it easy. props to such people but stop pitching tents on moral high grounds over those who take easy way out of errr double gaming.

I think TM wasn't judging her, but his post is worded as if he is. Should not say that she becomes unsanskari for wearing a dress or smoking etc if you aren't judging her.

About her being double-faced, I agree with StinsonIsHere that sometimes, you can't wear the kind of dresses you would like to because of the place you're in. Like I don't think I can wear a backless and mini skirt and walk around in the streets here in Delhi or take public transport wearing that and be confident. I will be scared as f. But I won't mind wearing wearing the same clothes or even shorter when I'm with friends in a safer environment. There are clothes which are too bold to wear when I'm with family, grandparents and all but I'll wear them with friends. In that way, I think most people would be double-faced. Not everyone can behave exactly the same, regardless who they are accompanied by. There is also some regard of formal and informal, like you can't behave the same with your friends AND your boss.

I don't think it means being double-faced or a hypocrite or a fox. If she said in an IV that she would never wear short clothes because she's too good for them in real life or insulted girls who did wear short/skimpy clothes and then this pic came out, that would be getting exposed. But just because people formed one opinion about her, she doesn't become accountable for it. Reel and real life are different and if someone doesn't understand that, it's actually their own fault.

Besides, I can't believe that her wearing backless or no bra and smoking are actually surprising for people. Or a topic of discussion. She is an ACTRESS!! I thought it's a given that those people have a different lifestyle from normal people. Especially because they do certain kinds of roles onscreen and could be totally different offscreen. Why would anybody expect them to not be smoking? OR wearing dresses? It is shocking for me that people here are shocked over this. I thought urban people were way over this.
