i don't think any one else but deepika could have ever pulled it off

the poster says it all..those expressions..that intensity in eyes..

the problem is..very rarely have we had a combo of both looks and acting in actresses

while madhuri and aishwarya looked a million bucks..their weak acting would not make me wana pick them

i cannot go to the times of waheeda etc since never saw their work. Madhubala was overrated AF..if we are going that far

I want it to be Aishwarya. She would have looked divine. She still can play the role, she's gorgeous as hell. I'm hoping for another epic historical movie from her. It fits her to the tee. I still wish she was the one who played Kareena's role in Asoka.

The best choice from any generation/era would have been Aishwarya Rai for sure. When I read the synopsis I instantly thought of her. Also she was excellent as Jodhaa.

After that Deepu is defo the best choice, glad to see her playing the role. She is stunning, and very talented. Hope Bhansali has made a good film.
