He was a very good singer had a very nice voice, and he could lift his voice when he needed to and make it strong. He has some iconic songs to his credit, Pehla nasha would not have been the same if anybody else had sung it

Yeah, he does make his voice sound deeper in a number of songs, especially when singing sad songs/heartbreak songs.

Yup and also he can raise his octaves make his voice higher louder without trying especially inthe mukhras of the song

Phoolon Sa Chehra Tera is such an underrated song. Beautifully sung!

And Aunty No. 1 also had some very melodious songs.
