He will do just fine. He has established his panache with his periodic movie before and i hope the history repeats itself.
Though, i am sure about his acting and performance, i am not so sure about SLB and how he is going to portray the story.

The context of the entire article does not make sense, what does his off screen antics have to do how he will play his role as Khilji.

The character shapes up with the combo of actor + director, so they should be more afraid of SLB will portray Khilji.

ranveers look for khilji is something they hav kept a secret, his transformation takes him about 3 hours everyday in hair and makeup, so wat u see in these pics is not look his look for khilji, he shaved his beard coz yes he is playing the younger version of khilji now, but the look is much more than this, apparently according to reports khilji will hav a big scar across his face

and this is just him coming out of a gym, this isn't wat his look for khilji is, and how does this prove that he will ruin khilji? his acting and performance r wat will make khilji come alive onscreen, just taking unnecessary stuff just to bash him

Anushka Shetty and Vidya Balan? None of them have the looks to play a beauty like Padmavati imo. About Deepika nailing the strength of the character, I'm not sure if she'd be able to pull it off but she was very good in that scene of Ramleela where she dons her mother's clothes and inherits her position. I am hopeful.
