I think Khilji might be one of his strongest roles.. he's a good actor irrespective of how he may look.

The shoes are blinding, and he does not have conventionally handsome looks, but the face is arresting. I can easily imagine the clean-shaven, long-haired RS as a young Khilji. Also, eccentricities aside, RS seems to be a rather well-behaved fella from the admittedly little I know. Why the venom?

Re: DP's looks vs. that of Aditi. Deepika is a pretty girl. And charisma/attractiveness is as much about the personality you project as about the symmetry of your features (see: Panchali, empress of Aryavarta (dark), Cleopatra, queen of Egypt (sharp nosed)). If DP is a good actress, she will do the job.

Would I be mocked if I say I don't find both Aditi and Deepika that pretty looking as people here consider them? I actually find Sonam prettier in comparison but DP's smile is her biggest asset which can trump all other ladies in BW except maybe Aishwarya when she is dressed in a non-gaudy attire, which seldom happens.

OT: I find really odd looking unshaved but that has nothing to do with Khilji. He'll win accolades for the character.

Sonam is probably the prettiest after Aishwarya, I agree. But none of them can project the strength I imagine must have been in Rani Padmavati. Among the current crop of actresses, perhaps Vidya Balan and Anushka Shetty can do that, but I don't know if makers look to them for mainstream roles, anymore.

You wouldn't be mocked, when so many believe she isn't pretty enough to play her role, there are mixed reactions to her looks.. also, Sonam is officially the forum's most beautiful actress so majority agree with you lol.
